Bormioli Rocco’s latest products render homage to Italian cuisine
Ice cream, fine wines, and cappuccino: Bormioli Rocco’s recent new proposals all pay tribute to Italian specialities through products that combine design and functionality. Let’s take a look at them one by one:
A sweeter summer with California ice cream bowls
Italians know a thing or two about ice cream making! After all, they’ve won the Ice Cream World Cup twice, and next year the competition will be held in Rimini. To sweeten the wait, Bormioli Rocco presents its California ice cream bowl in four new lively and vivacious colours: bright pink, lime green, sky blue and orange.
The degradé colour shading and the frosted glass finish bring out the best in the bowl’s design, with its striking diagonal cut. Perfect for serving deserts and fruit salads, it comes in two sizes: 36 or 23 cl.
Montepulciano and Rosé: two noble wines, two noble wine tasting glasses.
The Premium collection of wine tasting glasses has been enriched by two new models, Montepulciano and Rosé: the former, a 55cl glass, is designed to exalt the full taste of the superb Abruzzo red, while the latter, with a 44cl capacity, caters for the increasing appeal of rosé wines, ever more popular both among connoisseurs and ordinary wine lovers.
Like all the other wine glasses in the collection, the shape and dimensions of Montepulciano and Rosé have been specially studied to bring out the best in the bouquet of red and rosé wines. And thanks to the special composition of their fine crystal glass they have the shine of crystal while also being extremely practical, lightweight and sturdy… to the point where they can even be washed in dishwashers!
Another novelty is the collection of Tulip glasses, with gently curving lines and extra thin glass. Perfect for everyday table-laying, combining practicality and accessibility.
Cappuccino and espresso at the ready
Sturdy in resisting knocks, with the naturally elegant transparency of glass, the new Easy Bar espresso coffee cup is Bormioli Rocco’s suggestion for starting the day with the right burst of energy, or for taking a relaxing break.
