Sims 2 Freetime – Pottery badge question..?

Hello,
I have all the EPs and Stuff packs to date. Last night I finally added Freetime. I have a lady who makes plates and has succesfully made about 25. All the incorrectly made plates have been sold. I had her visit the secret arts and crafts lot. She even sells the plates in a home based business. She cant seem to get the bronze badge. I dont know whats wrong. In a far less time frame she has made it to silver in gardening but still nothing in pottery. I want her to be able to make something other than plates.. Help?

Do you raise enthusiasm by just making them do it more often? She does it all the time. Is there another way?

Having your Sim have a higher creativity skill level is supposed to help. The slow badge rate for the pottery wheel and the sewing machine have been a common complaint at the sims2.com. I don’t know if EA plans to include a quicker rate for the badge in a patch…whenever they finally release one again. :/
