how do I use Arabic (or Ottoman Turkish/Persian) vowel markers on my PC?
I want to write غزوار شوم ݘہ تہ نيوخ which should read “ghzoowaar shum ch’ t’ nyokh” Its actually old Albanian
If you’re using a Windows computer, the vowels will actually be found on your character map. The character map is a program that shows all the characters supported by fonts installed on your computer.
If you scroll down to the Arabic characters, you’ll see a set of characters like this Arabic sukun: ْ
They will be displayed above a circle with a dotted border, which is the area where the character is supposed to go. If you type ت and then the sukun, it will combine to form تْ. This is how you place vowels above or below Arabic letters on your computer.
