when did ziess stop making scopes in west Germany?
Yes I know the company is still making scopes. How ever they have moved the scope manufacturing part to Hungry. This happened about 10 years ago.The scopes that were made in West Germany were of a higher grade optics. I was trying to find out the exact date so I would know about how difficult a true ziess would be to find.
The Optic Lenses are still manufactured in West Germany. They are assembled however in Hungary…..
